A huge thank you to everyone who made a promise for MsMM 2006. Below are some of the fantastic promises we received to help us raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Unfortunately they have all been auctioned off and nothing of the like will be available again until 10 June 2007! Just thought you might want to slip that date into your diary.
This year we split the auction into bite size pieces while the bands were changing over. This gave our hard working auctioneer a breather and we believe worked very well for everyone. We were very pleased with the bidding on nearly all the available promises. But Will's little banana that was his intended nourishment for the whole day must get a special mention.
Having run out of food Will kindly donated it for auction in the hope it may raise fifty or sixty pence. The bids came soon came flying in from around the room and after some five minutes it finally sold for a whopping twenty quid!!
Our 2006 Promises (all now gone but still worth a mention!)
