Amy's Hair
15 YEAR OLD WINIFRED HOLTBY STUDENT TO HAVE 66 CENTIMETRES [26 INCHES] CUT OFF HER HAIR TO HELP FIGHT TEENAGE CANCER AND TO USE HER HAIR TO HAVE A WIG MADE FOR A TEENAGER WITH THE DISEASE. This was the fantastic promise made by Amy Smith at MSMM 2007.
Amy Smith of Sutton Park, Hull read about a young person with cancer in her Mum's magazine. She was so moved that she resolved to have her hair cut as a sponsored event in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT).
Amy has so far received tremendous support and sponsorship from family, friends, fellow students and members of the public.
