Flossie plays Swanland Village Hall
Another great opportunity to see Flossie Malavialle and help raise some much needed funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Saturday 13th March is a long awaited date for followers of this inimitable singer. Born in the south of France, Flossie has lived in Darlington for some years and the resulting accent is a joy to behold. The fun and frivolity should not hide the fact that she is a great singer with a voice that has been described as being ‘as clear and tuneful as a lark’. Come for the clear voice, come for the Janis Joplin or Edith Piaff impressions, come to see a fantastic performer who will have you laughing one minute and crying the next.
Visit Flossie's own website and make sure you click on the French flag to hear Flossie sing some famous French songs!
Swanland Village Hall is the venue for this evening with the proceeds being divided between the TEENAGE CANCER TRUST and H.E.A.R.T U.K. - The Cholesterol Charity.
A local, young musician, Matthew Colquhoun will be making his debut in Swanland on this evening.

Tickets cost: £7.50 (adult) £3.50 (accompanied children) £20 (family of 2+2) or £6.50 for S.V.A. members if purchased in advance from
Yvonne (01482 634863) or Ian (01482 632800) and include nibbles. Please bring your own drinks and glasses. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30 start.

ICE Ball - 21 November 2009
The Grand Ice Ball was held at the Ramada Jarvis in Willerby and over 250 generous people turned out to help raise over £10,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Here is the link to the photographs taken by Iain at the ball. £1.80 for each photo ordered will go to TCT. Enjoy and thanks for your support!
The “ICE” in this case was a diamond worth £3,500 generously donated by our main sponsor Guest and Phillips Jewellers.
Jill Turner was the lucky winner of the diamond (inset) set in platinum.

The organisers held a raffle and auction and following an excellent meal everyone gave generously for TCT before dancing the night away. Congratulations to all who helped or took part in this wonderful event.

Rugby Tackling Teenage Cancer (RTTC)
Rugby Tackling Teenage Cancer (RTTC) evolved from MsMM's enforced move from the back garden to Brantingham Park, the home of our local Rugby Union club, Hull Ionians.
Quite simply it is the idea of replicating what we are doing locally with MsMM around the country via other rugby grounds.
Thanks a million to Hull FC for providing an fantastic advertising board at the KC Stadium and helped us organise a bucket collect for TCT at the KC when THE WHO played there on 26 MAY.
Find out more about RTTC and our latest venture out and about.

Find out about Midsummer Music Madness
It seems a long time since June 2002 when we had our first gig in the garden, hoping our friends would enjoy our acoustic music concert, and raising “a bit” of money for the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT).
We were aware at a very early stage of the evening on 29th June 2002 that this was really special. Our vicar, who was in charge of the weather, wrote in the Parish magazine of the event and how proud he was to be there and living in North Ferriby. Find out more....
